Case Studies

My name is Shugufta Bibi and I am 22 years old. My husband Muhammad Amin run canteen in DHQ Hospital D.I.Khan and he earns Rs. 6000/= per month. I am matriculate. I belong to village Teekan which is highly affected by recent floods. My house is devastated and households washed away. There is no other health facility available in our village. Now we are living in a camp near the road. We did not have anything to wear or eat. Due to floods, our family scattered and we do not have any connection with them. When I become pregnant my relative Sabra told me about this HFC. I gave birth to a beautiful baby in UNFPA HFC in MMH at 2-00 o’clock on 15-8-2010. I visited the HFC and Humaira & Fozia LHVs examined me and gave me free medicines (Cap Velosef-10, Tab Diclofews-10, Tab Calcidin-10, Tab Paracetomal-10, Plijex Skin Ointmeul-1). This HFC helped me a lot as I belong to a poor family and it was not possible for us to bear the expenses of delivery. When I given birth a kid, they have given me a baby kit and hygiene kit. I really thankful and pray for UNFPA and its staff.
