It has been a proven and time tested reality that if government and non-government set-ups join hands and work together to achieve unanimously-set goals, nothing can stop them in achieving their targets and successfully reaching out to the goals. Both have capacities, resources, plans and strategies; only will is the key determinant which can boost up their efforts and help to hit the target. With the passage of time, issues and challenges are emerging, hurdles are raising their heads and so it is order of the day to search for new strategies, effective planning and improved mechanism of implementation to cater for all the evolving challenges and diverting the energies to provide needful support to those who are facing the harsh realities of life in one form or others. As the working mechanism of government and non-governmental sectors are somehow different, both have their own policies and procedures; it is a good time to find out the middle way without minutely pointing out the flaws or weaknesses of one another.  Another thing which is a contributing factor for developing rift between government and non-governmental sector is lack of efficient coordination. Time-being or short term coordination is established for achieving short-term success but this is not converted into long-term partnership which can pave the way to a sustainable and effective coordination. There might be some issues which are affecting the liaison and hindering in promoting the long-term partnerships. It is the prime responsibility of both the partners to identify the reasons for ineffectiveness of establishing a working relationship based on concrete and solid grounds and which would be supportive for both the parties.

The social sector is basically concentrating on bringing behavioral change with the involvement of community and develops the sense of ownership. It has been noticed that whenever, community is not involved in any matter directly related to them, they do not contribute with their full potential which ultimately elevates risk factors. It should be taken into consideration that with effective participation of community and incorporating their suggestions would provide a pathway to win their confidence besides reaching out to success. As the indigenous wisdom and positive traditions have deep roots and have been supported by practical implementation, so they should not be neglected and underestimated. By cultivating their experiences and benefitting from the best practices of the community, the destination can be targeted with comfortable ease. Awareness raising and advocacy are among the key tools to inform people and motivate them to strive for bringing positive change in them. Information is the power and with effective and efficient use of proper information, both government and non-government sectors, can mobilize people to generate adequate resources and create self-dependency. With coordinated and combined efforts, the current scenario can be transformed and people can be equipped with requisite skills to undertake new challenges and address their own issues. Tolerance is another feature that facilitates harmony among different segment of society.  Though, both government and non-government sectors are facing various issues surfacing from different interventions, the combined and coordinated efforts can help to bend down the emerging risks and even eliminate the chances of failure.
